FIRE PROTECTION FOR OIL & GAS COMPRESSOR STATIONS
Protecting High-Risk, High-Hazard Environments with Proven Solutions

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS BUILT TO CODE

Compressor stations are a critical part of long-distance delivery of petroleum products. They can be dangerous experiencing leaks which can cause flash fires, pressurized jet fires, pool fires, or fires in confined spaces and other places where fuel can collect.

Fire protection at oil and gas compressor stations involves a multi-layered approach, including passive and active systems, to minimize the risk of fire and explosion. Key components include gas leak detection, flame detection, fire suppression systems, and emergency response plans

ORR Protection delivers custom-engineered fire protection for Class 1, Div 2 oil and gas compressor stations. Our systems are designed to meet strict manufacturer specifications and operational requirements while minimizing downtime and maximizing safety.

OIL & gAS sOLUTIONS

Whether you need a new system or are upgrading existing infrastructure, ORR Protection has the expertise and technology to protect your people, assets, and operations.

Off-shore oil platforms, oil pumping stations, refineries, gasoline storage tanks, compressor stations, gas processing plants, LNG receiving facilities… oil & gas facilities represent significant fire hazards, often complicated by harsh environments and remote locations.

CONSIDERATIONS & PROTECTION

Control Rooms: Computer and control system equipment are vital to safe operations in a facility that handles or processes oil and gas products. Smoke and heat detection in combination with waterless clean agent suppression will extinguish fire without causing harm to control room equipment.
