New ORR Service Desk Solution

We are excited to announce that ORR has partnered with Louisville Geek to be our new service desk administrator as of Monday, October 4! Here’s what you need to know about Louisville Geek.

Louisville Geek will handle Tier 1 service desk needs such as:

  • password resets
  • computer issues
  • network/wireless problems
  • printer connections
  • and more 

ORR’s IT department has been working closely with Louisville Geek to familiarize them with our company, our technology, and our associates’ needs. Rest assured that the ORR IT team is still intimately involved in all aspects of ORR technology. If the Louisville Geek team is unable to resolve an issue quickly, it will be escalated to the ORR team for resolution in a timely manner.

Please note that Field Service Module (FSM) tickets will still come directly to the ORR team to be handled by the capable professionals you are accustomed to working with. The FSM service desk email address and contacts will not change.   

How to Submit a Help Desk Request:

There are multiple ways to contact Louisville Geek.

Email

To submit a Service Desk ticket via email, please email servicedesk@orrprotection.com. This email goes directly to our contacts at Louisville Geek. *The servicedesk@orrcorp.com email address is no longer in use and will not be monitored.

As mentioned above, the FSM Help Desk remains the same: fsmorhelpdesk@rprotection.com. This address will return an automated response from Louisville Geek telling you we have received the ticket.

Online  

We will be utilizing Louisville Geek’s ticketing system, ConnectWise. This system will enable you to submit tickets, view their status, and provide updates in an easy-to-use online portal. Service requests can be submitted online through Louisville Geek’s website. First, follow this link to register. Once on the registration page click “Sign in with Google.” This will send a request to Louisville Geek to add you as a user. Once you are registered, you can submit a service request online by using the same link or by visiting the Louisville Geek website then choosing Support Center>Submit a Service Ticket. 

If you have issues registering, please send an email to servicedesk@orrprotection.com with a description of the issue you are having. Louisville Geek will be able to resolve any registration issues you may have.
