“Help! I’m using the Google Drive desktop app, but my G: drive isn’t available. When I check out the icon for my G: drive, there’s a question mark there.”Don’t panic – this is an easy fix. It likely means that Google Drive just isn’t running – you’ll probably see that the Google Drive icon isn’t showing up in the system tray at the lower right of your screen. If that’s the case, click on the Start button, find Google Drive in your Start Menu and click on it to launch it.
If you do see the icon in the system tray, but it’s greyed out, you just need to sign in. Click once on the greyed-out icon, click the sign-in button that pops up, and continue to sign in with your Google account.
