This is ORR's multi-million dollar initiative to provide our customers with complete integrated information management systems, allowing them e-commerce capabilities and instant access to any and all critical fire protection system information.

  •  NetSITE

  •  NetREPORT

  • What if you could...

…always know that inspections and maintenance on your fire protection systems is up-to-date.
    • If you could easily see that there are overdue inspections on some of your equipment, would you immediately act on it? How much trouble would it cause if there were an incident in an area where the equipment had not been inspected within published guidelines?
…review all unscheduled service you’ve had over the past 12 months.
    • With easy access to “what/when/where/why,” could you quickly spot a pattern? Would you be able to evaluate why your systems need costly unscheduled service and pursue ways to minimize it?
…inventory all of the fire protection equipment you currently have in service.
    • What if a fire protection equipment manufacturer recalled one of their products because it may not function properly when needed? Wouldn’t it be nice to know the make and model of every piece of hardware that is protecting your business? Example: FenwalNet 1000 or Fike Intelliscan is now obsolete. Do you have any of these systems installed? What would you have to do to find out for sure?
…accurately budget how much you’ll need to spend for equipment that will be due for replacement in the coming year(s).
    • When you have established a budget for fire protection, surprises are unwelcome. Wouldn’t you want to know exactly what equipment (i.e. system back-up battery) is going to be replaced the next time a scheduled service call is made?
…respond immediately with up-to-date information in the event a system did not respond to a fire.
    • Failure of a system to respond to a fire will create a lot of troubling questions for you. What information would you want to have instant access to immediately? What if you had a complete, up-to-date library of inspection and maintenance reports at your fingertips for each and every fire system you have in service?
…easily produce records on demand if asked by the authorities.
    • Compliance with state and local Fire Codes is the law. Would defending yourself in court be easier if you could show evidence that every measure was taken to maintain your fire protection systems and in a state of readiness? Would this evidence also help with insurance risk assessments? Would having instant, complete and detailed records reinforce your position even more?
…hold the people who do your inspections accountable without leaving your desk.
    • What level of accountability do you have that your contractor is actually performing inspections? What assurance do you have that they were in your facility on a particular day, and that they performed the steps required of each different piece of equipment per the manufacturer’s specifications?
…keep records accurately enough to know precisely when code dictates equipment must be inspected and/or replaced.
    • For Example: New smoke detectors need a sensitivity test after 1 year. After the first year, they can be scheduled for a sensitivity test once every 2 years. After that, the test is done every 5 years. If one of your detectors fails after 3 years, its replacement starts over with its 1 year/2 year/5 year testing cycle, which means it’s out of synch with the others. You can see how the complexity of staying in compliance multiplies.
    • For Example: Heat detectors have a 15 year replacement cycle. When do yours get replaced? Does your contractor keep those records? What if you change contractors a number of times during that 15 year cycle?
…deter audits by the fire marshal or AHJ.
    • Having a computerized system with a database that does record keeping for you automatically helps an auditor quickly realize that your house is in order. The fire marshal may just decide to spend their time auditing someone else who does not have a complete library of inspection, testing and maintenance reports for their fire protection equipment created and maintained for them by experts.

    What if you could…
